The Experience – Meet the Family

A visit to Barley Hall includes a guided tour of the Hall by a costumed character introducing the history of the late 15th century entitled “Meet the Family”. A strong emphasis is made on status, as the lives of the wealthy family and their poorer servants are uncovered. For the second part of your visit you can choose a specific workshop from the list detailed in each key stage section to tie in with your school’s needs (excluding the Full Tudor Day).
