Coach Access JORVIK and DIG are a 15-minute
walk from the city Coach Rendezvous Points. Coach
access within York's historic city walls is restricted.

Group Sizes School groups are admitted
in parties of up to 30 people at one time. Larger
groups can be accommodated by staggering entry times.
Length of Visit School parties should allow
one hour for a visit to JORVIK and 90 minutes for
a visit to DIG. We request that groups arrive on time;
owing to high demand, late-comers may be asked to
join the queue.
Speakers JORVIK can provide speakers
for short talks for INSET courses at schools and teachers'
centres. If you are interested in this service, please

Lunch Facilities DIG has space for up to 35 people
to eat a packed lunch, free of charge. Visitors to
DIG can also eat lunch in the outdoor Sensory Garden.
Please note that pre-booking is essential. To book
a half-hour lunch slot (between 11.00 and 14.00) please
request a time when booking your visit to JORVIK or
DIG.
