The Battlefield at Fulford 14:30

On the morning of Wednesday 20th September 1066, the northern Anglo-Saxon army left York to fight off an invading Norwegian force under King Harald Hardrada. The two armies met at Fulford. Join Chas Jones, author of "The Forgotten Battle of 1066: Fulford", for a walk to the battlefield and to hear the story of the conflict, on a landscape that has altered little since Viking times. Wear walking clothes and sturdy footwear.

A Special Screening of 'The Wicker Man'
