The Malton Museum Redevelopment Project is a partnership between the Malton Museum, York Archaeological Trust, and the Fitzwilliam Estate. Currently there are a series of proposals which would enable the museum to move from its current location to a site adjacent to the Orchard Field Roman fort site. Not only then would the museum find a new home, but it would be supported by a range of additional facilities to create a brand new, unique attraction for Malton.
