Or why not visit our new sister attraction, DIG – An Archaeological Adventure

Private Evening Viewings

Visit one of York’s most famous attractions when it has closed its doors to the public.

Enjoy exclusive use of the centre and mingle with the Vikings of JORVIK as you travel back 1000 years to when the Vikings ruled York.

Make it a night to remember with our range of Viking-themed canapés and drinks (all made using ingredients available to the Vikings in 10th-century York). JORVIK can accommodate groups of up to 120 for a drinks reception or 75 for a Viking-themed buffet.

Please call 01904 543400 or email pbruce@yorkarchaeology.co.ukfor further information

JORVIK Viking Feasts

Dine with the Viking Kings in either the Merchant Taylors’ Hall or the Merchant Adventurers' Hall, two of York’s beautiful medieval buildings. All the menus are made using ingredients available to the Vikings in 10th century York (but created to appeal to modern tastes).

Included in the cost of a Viking feast is your very own team of Vikings to entertain you with traditional tests of strength and agility, saga-telling and duelling!

JORVIK can accommodate groups of up to 120 for Viking Feasts; please call 01904 543400 or email pbruce@yorkarchaeology.co.ukfor further information.

Site Visits

We recommend that you meet with the corporate team to discuss your needs prior to booking, and also pre-visit our venues to make planning your evening easier.
